| PACARC supports an
active ARES(TM) group in Anderson County. Members
participate in regular nets and drills throughout the county. ARES(TM)
has an MOU with Anderson County to provide emergency communications. The
ARES(TM) plan for the county may be downloaded here
and the MOU may be downloaded here. An
Application for
ARES(TM) may be downloaded here.
Any
licensed Amateur may participate in ARES(TM).
PACARC members are also members of RACES. The State of Texas RACES plan is being revised by the State at this time. It is expected that an updated plan will be released by the State Department of Emergency Management soon. The updated plan will be posted when released. The current plan is available here.
